1. Quality Engineer  

Job Location: Shanghai China

Summary: The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring program success by leading the PPAP for assigned programs.  Reporting to the Quality Engineering Supervisor, the Quality Engineer will support the Regional APQP Engineer by participating in the creation of PFMEA’s, CP’s, and process documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

● Ensure MSA studies and adequate Gage R&R for launching programs are conducted

● Develop control plans and training materials

● Develop inspection criteria and documentation

● Support runs for pre-series production to ensure quality and on-time launch along with testing equipment capabilities

● Monitors the approval of supplied components

● PPAP preparation and submission

● Reviews GD&T and gauging methodologies for assigned program

Job Requirements:

● 6 Sigma Green Belt preferred and proven competence using advanced problem solving

● Practical experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, tool usage and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

● Competent in problem-solving tools such as 8D methodology (Fishbone, 5 Why, etc.)

● Competent in quality tools, and process/production control methods such as (Control Plans, FMEA,GD&T,MSA,PPAP,SPC)

● Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure the understanding of the agreed quality parameters and product specific requirements

● Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability

● Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

● Experience with Tesla or Extrusion preferred

Education and Work Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution

● Minimum 5 years of aluminum industry experience

2. Die Corrector  

Job Location: CHONGQINGCN

Summary:

Identify issues and make corrections to existing dies so they perform as required and to customer prints. Documenting these changes so as to inform die vendor(s), so a replacement die will have improved performance.

Job Responsibilities:

● Polish / make corrections to die tooling.

● Review new die designs from vendor with Dept manager recommending possible improvements.

● Document corrections on section specific paperwork so it can be sent to vendor for redesign of next die.

● Review die performance history and recommend changes to design to improve

● Identify tooling by size, type and where it is stored

● Understand the meaning of the numbers stencilled on the tooling.

● Enter data into computer system.

● Understand hazards and what chemicals are used in caustic and nitride areas.

● Identify defects on die bearings and technique to repair them.

● Understand metal flow in a die and techniques to change it.

● Read section prints and inspect extrusions to the print

 Job Requirements:

● Ability to properly use and understand measuring equipment and tools.

● Proper operation of mill machine, die press, sandblaster, Nitrider, and caustic system.

● Sign off all required JSA’s for department and any other required classroom training.

● Take Lead for on boarding all new employees

Education and Work Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
